Tonight we went and saw a movie called Blackspot. Its a local indy NZ film made with a mere $30k and lots of help from friends. It should be watched by all of you. It came out in 2008 and has been hopping around international film fests ever since. It might be out on DVD, I have no idea. But you should watch it. Its got a bit of a slow, yet ( Read more... )

I'm glad you enjoyed watching the film. I did a good portion of the visual effects work and it was a great experience to see it at the Embassy with such an awesome audience.

Here's hoping more people get the opportunity to see it in the future!

Hey there!! Yeah, it was pretty awesome. I'm glad I got the chance to see it on a large screen... are there plans for a DVD release?

I can only hope that there will be a release deal at some point. Public interest will certainly help to get the message out that it is a worthwhile film deserving of wider attention. There is a facebook group that you can follow if you are interested.
