oh gosh, i think shirou has been one of my absolute favourite characters too and i'm so in awe of how ao no exorcist manages to even do that to me, making me fall in love with a character who dies in the second episode. i guess it's because we learn so much about him in the aftermath.

anyway, my rambling aside, this was gorgeous. i love that there is such warm familiarity between him and memphisto. and the snowman and baby!okumuras! not gonna lie, that little scene in the anime's opening always gets to me and that's what i had in mind while reading this.
