those smallest of gestures always seem to mean the most. those tiniest moments of beauty, understanding, the only ones you can make sense of. maybe i'm just beginning to once again appreciate these things, but i find myself in a place where they can leave me reeling for hours

I have hardly slept for more than five hours lately as well. Maybe it is just too many thoughts running through my mind, or possibly my extremely loud neighbors stomping above me. (They're doing it right now.)

if you're in the uk for less than 6 months, you don't need a visa -- all you need is a valid us passport. unless you wanted to work whilst there, then you'd have to get in touch with the british embassy and go through all that noise.
south kensington is not at all a bad place to be if you can pull it off. there are bunch of museums there like the victoria and albert, and i'm pretty sure knightsbridge (old fashion district) and piccadilly circus (so much amazing stuff though tourist hell in some places) are only one or two stops on the tube.
+i'm so fucking jealous.
