[Review] CAST - KAT-TUN New Album 2018
I've done the review on twitter. Basically, i just copy-pasted everything and might be added few things here and there since this is LJ! XD
Disclaimer: this is my opinion only. it might differ from yours.
1. DIRTY, SEXY, NIGHT
i...like it??? hahahaha. maybe i'm just sucker for this kind of musics. it does sounds like Destiny and other latin songs in Kaizokuban Concerts. and again, i hope they will have hipshake as part of their choreo in concert, XDD
2. Fire Storm
the intro...ermmmm. i'm not into this kind of musics. XDD but...I LOVE NAKAMARU'S DEEP AUTOTUNE VOICE HEREEEE!!!! btw, the "SHAKE SHAKE WOOOO", it sounds like....aaaa, i dont remember whose song but it sounds familiar. i like it tho, i cant help to move my body. <--this only for few days after listening to CAST.
AFTER FEW WEEKS, THIS IS MY CAST'S ANTHEM!!!! lmao. seriously, i fall hard for this song.
3. Ready For This
i can imagine how they will sing this LIVE! lol. especially for "la la la" part, maybe fans will sing that part. AH, I LOVE THEIR RAPS!!!! or talking fast to be specific. oh, oh...I LOVE HOW THEY HAVE KIND OF PAUSE IN THE MIDDLE!!!!
4, Don't Wait
I LOVE THIS SONG SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I NEED THE LYRICS!!!! SOBSSSS. FROM THE SAME PERSON WHO COMPOSED TWILIGHT, IN THE DARK, BIRDS, SORE ZORE NO SORA E, HODOKYOU (ALL THESE ARE MY FAVS) i dont know how to describe it but,,,well, these songss....
5. 願い
A SOOTHING SONG!!! i love the musicsssss. and kame's voice at the intro....then ueda's part.....aaaaaaaaaa. tbh, i'm not into slow song but I DO ENJOY AND APPRECIATE their voices here. IT SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! EVERYTHING IS GOOD. nakamaru's voice here..../i'm sobbing/
6. MoonLight
i kinda disappointed with the intro because i'm expecting something like epic music but...BUT....OOMG, THROUGHOUT THE SONG, IT RICH WITH DIFF KIND OF MUSIC INSTRUMENTALS??!!!! I...I'M WEAK btw, it might slightly sound like News-Byakuya. just a few moments?
7. Believe It
i...i'm not into this kind of song despite how nice their voices in this song. soryyyyyyy.
8. Vivid Love
typical KT ballad?
anyway....it's nice. it just, again, i'm not into slow song. but i'll definitely listen to it if i want to enjoy KT slow songs. huuuu
9. ツイテオイデ
it has "come here's album" vibe. hahahahaha. not bad. maybe it'll grow on me later. but for the moment, it just nice.
10. Be Alive
It has rock sounds but...is it considered as rock? or pop rock? the first few lines, i dont like it. >< overall, maybe it'll grow on me later
11. Brand New Me
the music intro...reminds me of kame's someday for somebody?!!!!
Same like 'Believe It", their voices are nice but....me....nope. ><
12. New Genesis
Many comments that praised this song. But then....for me, just so-so. (please dont kill me) The music intro was A+ but....I kinda bothered with how they sang this song. idk, it's like...their voices not harmonize with the music beat. huuuu.
13. Unstoppable
I LOVE THIS SONG, PERIOD. i love how KT's song always like....unpredictable? i meant, the music directions. its always has high beat, then turned to low beat, and all of sudden, a pause? /ignore me/
14. アイノオカゲ
an upbeat song~ something that KAT-TUN will sing as encore song
15. 薫
THE MUSIC INTRO......HKDSFVHSADBV;ABVD.
I JUST LOVE ANY SONGS THAT START WITH VIOLIN/PIANO. 1st, i thought it's a nakamaru solo because his part was sooo long and so nakamaru-ppoi. lmao then changed to rock for UEDA., dang!! THEN BALLAD FOR KAME THIS SONG IS LIT!!!
16. World's End - Ueda
Edgy and Rock in one sentence~ somehow has rabbit and wolf's vibe? >< anyway, i cant help to laugh at "wooff wooff" part. XDD
17. Marionation - Nakamaru
Sooo nakamaru-ppoi.
but maybe it will grow on me after listening it few times. For the moment, I cant help to compare it with The Way (omg,i love 'the way' soooooo much)
18. One Way Love - Kame
it's been...years? that i like (can listen to) kame's solo????? *GASPPPP* kame's english not bad tho....it sounds nice and not annoying. btw, as others speculate, maybe, maybe....JIN WAS THE ONE PRODUCED IT! /hidesss/
