Since I had one of those misspent youths watching way too many cartoons when I was little (although I don't mind so much 'cause it sure as hell contributed to a very enjoyable childhood), I figured why not pay some attention to one of the less famous ones. Coincidentally, just last week I had a 'cartoon nostalgia' mood and watched the first episode of Bucky O'Hare on Youtube, remembering that I quite liked it. I had to see that it was a little disappointing. That'll mostly be a matter of taste though; but there are lots of cartoons I watched and some of them held up (Transformers, Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors, Thundercats) while others are a bit less enjoyable nowadays (MASK, Bucky, some others). I particularly disliked the extreme colours and the animation this time around. But I guess it's totally up for taste. I am still fascinated by the universe though. The designs are really awesome. I think particularly the comic might be very interesting!

I didn't have so much problems with the animation (though admittedly it isn't all that spiffy), but all the explanatory actions bothered me loads not to mention the aerial loop in space..
The aniverse remains interesting indeed and I've been told that the comic is (and I quote) "f*ckin' brilliant", so it might be worth looking out for. ;)
