Walter stood by the drier, watching his hoodie tumble the last few times before the ding and click that announced the end of a cycle filled Dan's houses' dark basement. He pulled open the door, retrieving his piping hot costume. The ginger teen looked about, Dan had said he was heading up stairs to change and that his parents weren't home, so Walter saw no reason not to undress and put on his warm fresh clothes here. He had the presence of mind to drop the clothes he had been wearing(Dan's clothes)into the laundry basket, Dan always got a bit annoyed when he forgot to do things like that. With his black and white face in his now gloved hands, he headed back up stairs to see if Dan's ready.
Dan sits perched on the couch, hands fiddling with the goggles on his costume. He decides on making a few adjustments when he gets home. Hopping off the couch when he hears the light thumps of Walter's steps as he draws closer, he turns around and rests his fists on his hips and strikes a pose.
Walter was pulling on his mask as he entered the room. He looked up, his mask sitting over his nose, as Dan spoke. A smile split his usually blank expression at seeing Nite Owl standing before him.
"Hurm." He closes the gap between them, circling around the other teen once, with an appraising tone. "Still needs a little work. Will be fine for tonight." He nods.
Rorschach pulls his mask down the rest of his face and lifts his hood over his head.
He nods, fingers playing at the small pouches on his utility belt. His mind is already racing with the gadgets he could use-- always be prepared. Bear scouts. He digs it.
