lex: i realize you're strapped down and everything, but can we try for a hug?
clark: MMPHFM!
lex: oh, don't try to talk with the rubber in, it'll hurt your jaw.
clark: mmf.
lex: i just feel really close to you right now.

I love your review so much I want to marry it and have its babies. So now that I actually have time, I should just warn you most of this is just me quoting it back to you with praise for your brilliance.

Um. The scene where they're grunting while Lex PULLS SOMETHING OUT OF CLARK'S BODY? Yeah, that's not gay AT ALL.

ROFL!! And silly Lex, why did you "need" Clark to be super when clearly you want to be the one penetrating his impenetrable flesh. "Dammit Clark, when I tried to jam my symbolic penis into your body, after you physically stole my woman, and it didn't work because it BROKE, don't you think I noticed?"

Okay, the thing that is brilliant about the first Clark/Lex scene is how everything they're both saying is so *honest*. They're only telling truths here (or things they believe to be true -- and what, exactly, is the difference?) I won't quote your whole breakdown back to you (I, too, geekily transcribed that whole scene--actually most of their scenes), but I agree with your assessment of the amount of truth in that scene ( ... )

*dies laughing*

I just hugged myself with glee at this!

Wait, is sitting in front of the TV with the remote in one hand and a pen in the other and constantly hitting the rewind button on the DVR so that you can get down *exactly* what these characters are saying....is that GEEKY? Heeeeeeeeeeeeee. I have so much love for this show. And I'm so happy that I've found another transcriber. Dialogue is important!

I'm definitely looking forward to the war of the Luthors.

The war to end all wars. God, it is going to be GLORIOUS. I can't wait!

This review was wonderfully insightful and made me cry all over again. I agree with nineteen of your points. (I'm a dunce and don't get fifteen.) The boys are just so heartbreaking! *friends you, if that's okay* I'd love to read your thoughts on future episodes.

Oh, and "Hereafter" is a great episode for what it implies about Clark's place in/effect upon Destiny. *loves it*

Hi, there! Thanks so much for reading. And new friends are always welcome here.

You're not a dunce at all -- 15 was just my incoherent flailing at having that small sliver of Clark's belly showing when he collapsed on the ground after the explosion. I have a thing about bellies. :)

Your icon is so lovely! HANDS YAY.

Yay! *shakes virtual hands*

OH! Well, in that case. I agree with that one, too. Also, go see literaryllfor a belly screen cap. It's made of win! :D

Thank you! (I won't tell you who they belong to in case you are unspoiled/not quite there, yet. But, the scene it's from made me SQUEE with fangirl joy. Hence, it's my default.:-)
