So, we all got over our colds a couple of weeks ago, but yesterday my throat started getting sore.  And at 4 this morning the kiddo woke up with a fever, complaining that his ear hurt.  This just isn't right!

Update, doc yesterday concurred that it looks like just a virus and only light irritation in his ear. He threw a horrible sad-fit every time he was near a doctor or nurse, though.

The little guy's temp has bounced around a bit since then - broke into a sweat with a normal temperature last night (tossed his covers in the wash). This morning his temp was highish and he got a cool bath and more liquid Advil, then played very happily for hours and now both kiddo and Mom are napping happily. :) So much for going to the library little-guys' reading times today, though.

Yuck! I can sympathize though, my co-workers keep coming to work sick... so now I have a sore throat too. Grr.
