It's been a while since I'va watched so many on air dramas at the same time, and by "a while" I mean "years". But I'm not finding it a hassle, because I'm enjoying all of them.
MIU404
Ok, let's start with a bang.
I am obsessed with this drama. I check the subber's page every day even if they've just released a new episode. I can't wait to watch another episode but at the same time I don't want it to end! That's the level of my madness.
It's a detective drama, and the single cases are nice, I got emotional several times.
But! It's a drama written by Nogi Akiko, that saint woman, so, OF COURSE, the characters are spectacular and I love them.
The characters played by Ayano Go and Hoshino Gen are absolutely beautiful, I watch an episode in 1 hour instead of 45 minutes because I keep replaying their scenes. Their chemistry is amazing and they're just so. well. written! Ayano Go has this tendency to hurt my feelings choosing often terrible dramas, but when he works with Nogi Akiko? A marvel is born.
Also, we only got to see a litle about the other pair, Jimba-san and Kokonoe, but still? Perfect. That generation gap *chef kiss*
Last but not least, Suda freaking Masaki being the final boss or something like that. Thank you God.
Miman Keisatsu
My feelings about this drama:
That's it, that's the drama.
Another detective drama about some students of a Police Academy solving crimes and blah blah blah I don't care, the 2 main characters are two adorable dumbasses and I adore them.
It doesn't help that Nakajima Kento and Hirano Sho are actually two really weird kids and I have enjoyed a lot the promos they've done for the drama.
Watashi no Kaisefu, Nagisa-san
I have to say that I don't care that much about the job of the main character, even if the co-workers are ok. The selling point is the super precious Nagisa-san, the nice protagonist (I still don't understand if I like the way she dresses or not --> important) and the guy played by Seto Koji, who seems perfect but I suppose he his like Aihara (super messy), and I think that when we will find out it's going to be fun.
I'm still unsure of where I want the story to go: do I ship Aihara with Seto Koji or with Nagisa-san? Or Nagisa-san is more like a mother-figure? It's a mystery.
Unsung Cinderella
It's nice, well written, well acted, and the stories of the patients are very touching.
I'm not that invested in the characters, but maybe it's because I'm only on ep. 3. I recognize it'a good drama, it would have probably stood out more in another season, in this one there are too many dramas that suits my taste more.
Oyabaka Seishun Hakusho
If I think critically about this drama, the father-daughter relationship, especially the way Gataro is so overly protective and obsessed with his daughter, to the point of interfering so much with her life is... disturbing. Toxic. Problematic.
If I shut down my brain and just sit down and watch the drama, Gataro is still annoying, sometimes, but overall is an enjoyable watch. I hope it will develope like Kahogo no Kahoko, with Sakura becoming more and more independent and making her dad understand that she's her own person and an adult. I think it's going to be like that, but I'm still crossing my fingers because you never know XD
Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru
First of all, it's all very aesthetically pleasing. All the traditional clothes, the house, the sweets.
I've only watched 2 episodes and I think it's going to be quite dramatic (not in the sense that there will be tragedies, but just... drama XD), but so far I'm liking it. Yokohama Ryusei's character is the classic cold man with emotional issues who does kabe-dons all the time and I am weak.
