First major DYI project - dining room chairs

When my grandfather died 2 years ago, my grandmother couldn't stay in her house any longer and was moved into a retirement home. Because she'd rather her stuff be given to family instead of being sold, I inherited some furniture (and other miscellaneous items). One of these items was her dining table and chairs. I have many fond memories of that
