My French teacher loves Proust and I love him too and he always talks about him! Have you read Remembrance of Things Past? I've read only Swann's Way, but I loved it.

nope. I was supposed to read Swann's Way during my Victorian Lit 2 class my freshman year, but I neglected to read both that and Middle March by george elliot (like a million pages long). god knows how I passed the final. it's on my shelf though and I intend to read it... when I have time. I like to read introductions to authors prior to starting thier novels when I can, because then I feel I understand what I'm reading much better
