I am making this post for two reasons: because I don't want to read Bernard Malamud or Louisa May Alcott, I have half an hour before work, and I wish to spite Stuart (but without the mean spirit of a usual spite) and prove him wrong - ha ha

I have another friend on lj who is thinking right now of not doing his thesis after all. He was supposed to start doing it this fall but there is no faculty member here with whom to pair him considering the subject he is interested in, so he's thinking maybe to just screw the whole thing rather than finding another topic that he doesn't care about as much.

And, for some reason, I didn't realize you were at the UA until just now, assuming that UAFaye is the only Ark campus with the HPER. :)
