My little princess ought to start learning to do things herself. She is more than capable of putting her spoon in her mouth. But when I put a spoonful of cereal in her hand, she promptly tried to hand it back to me while making "feed me" noises at me. Spud wanted so many of our tech toys, we broke down and got him really cheap ones that we pulled cords from so he could play with, or found old ones around the house that we did the same thing to.
Unfortunately - he figured out that they're not *real* tech toys, so he's now spurned them.
Some days...I wish Spud would let us feed him. The other morning he decided that it would be cool to scrunch up his cereal with is hands, and wring out the milk in his bowl. Then whimper and cry because "hands, icky!" *shakes head*
It's a good thing they're cute :)
