I feel the exact same about College ugh my mom just doesn't get it. It's kind of weird how Alex brushes off Jack's jokes about self-harm.. idk it's kind of morbid and sick in a way. But I guess my friends and I do the same thing so..

i dont think alex exactly brushes them off, he just doesnt know how to correctly respond, especially while theyre in school. and my parents actually really dont even care if i go to college, so thats somewhat of a plus for this
