What is wrong with Ken? I do not understand why he refuses to meet my eyes or even speak to me unless necessary, only to turn around and watch me when my back is turned. I suspect he thought I was not looking, but the shop has ample reflective surfaces on which I can see him. Why is he looking at me with those eyes?
I also fail to see why my injury would give him cause to watch me -- I have had worse, and it does not hinder me from performing my job in the flowershop to the best of my skills. I simply need a few days' rest and no more interference from Kritiker's doctors. It is simply a scratch.
