So, I was thinking about this too much on the way to work today, connected to someone on ficcynet describing the pornographic element in my fics (Ok yeah that's most of the fic) as "Ugh". Expression through literature is not just always good practice, but necassary. Not all sexual acts SHOULD be expressed in reality, some are taboo, which is where text comes in handy. Wether the internet is better than book, or not, is a seperate discussion. The problem is on the internet everyone is equal, man woman and child, with the last being the main problem.

You have to actually join the community to read it though, nto that that's any trouble!
Admittedly it's fanfic and sweeney todd fanfic at that but the characters are fairly immaterial in these things half the time. Don't read the most recently published first though or it'll make no sense! Or there's stuff there by other people which is probably better than mine - and good things at www.jokerxharley.net/efiction
Normally i would never make an argument for anything being better than a book, hence my enthusiasm on this one exception!
