A disaster befell me a year ago: I bought a house and decided to do most of the work on it myself. I did not take into consideration the knowledge that 1) I am lazy; 2) I work a lot; and 3) when I'm home from work I'd rather read than do housework of any variety, even the home remodeling type.

The cat pounded the door open -- easily enough when the latch doesn't work -- bounded across the room and threw herself into the bath tub, whereupon she almost INSTANTLY climbed the wall trying to get out.

LMAO - I can so easily visualize this.

The cat has not forgiven me. Nor would I expect her to.

She's kinder than I would have guessed. She deigned to sleep with me again last night -- thought that might have had something to do with the snowstorm that blew through.

My new cat is very silly too and makes me laugh a lot. The other day she managed to somehow flush the toilet by herself.
