The Weather and -- oh, yeah -- Some Fic

So we've been having a little spell of dry heat -- 104 degrees right now with no relief in sight. That means on Saturdays, I'd much rather be indoors rather than outdoors.

Darling - it's not often I visit fanfiction.net these days but that was so worth the detour!!! Lovely lovely fic, so perfectly Eliot, so awesomely Parker, and frankly, it happened in my head canon, ok?

Also, love the fact that as well as a state of the art kitchen, he has an amazing bathroom. IT MAKES TOTAL SENSE (not least because, like Lady Macbeth, he can never get clean enough, right?)

You are so sweet! Thanks so much for the compliment.

My thought on the Pit of Voles is that we shouldn't abandon it completely to the tweens. Also that all my fic is stored there, so I can't leave it behind unattended!

Although a frightening number of readers have put the story on their update list and "can't wait for a new chapter." Eeek! I thought it complete!

You could just transfer it all to LJ and abandon the Pit of Voles (I did, and now and then someone finds a story of mine there and flags it, or comments, which is bloody weird!). But that's always a pain...

Hee - and yes, that update thing? Classic ff net. CLASSIC!

Rose is writing again? Yays for us.

Though I've watched Leverage from the beginning, it's not a verse I know well enough to comment on intelligently, except to say I enjoyed this....and "...can't wait for the next chapter - SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE....."

Ha ha! You're so funny! And I don't know if you can call one piece every six months or so "writing."

But I have been home in June instead of on the road for business, so that makes it easier to write.

And the temperature yesterday was 111. Which makes it harder to AMAZINGLY easier to stay inside and write rather than, say, walk out the door.
