Description, including PB: PB: Emma Stone. Rose is tall for her age and slim, due to her love of quidditch. She has shocking red hair, like her father, and is smart, like her mother and she has green eyes.
Personality: Although she is quite smart, Rose would much rather be out on the quidditch pitch than in the library. When she applies herself, she can get good marks, but she finds it hard to find the motivation when she can scrape by without doing much work. She is carefree and quite mischevious and although she is quite regularly in trouble, she's not a bad sort. Her teachers would love to find a way to make her apply herself to her studies, especially those that knew her mother, but right now, Rose has other things on her mind.
Personal History: Rose is the first child of Ron and Hermione Weasley and has one younger brother, Hugo, who is 11 and has just started first year. Rose herself has just started third year and has just been selected to play quidditch on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Growing up, Rose loved going to work with her Dad, mostly because she loved to spend time with her Uncle George. He always had time for her, and was forever showing her new and more exciting ways of causing havoc at home. It kept Rose occupied and it amused George when Ron came to work yet again with no eyebrows, or with blue hair.
Rose was an easy child, happy to amuse herself and to play with others, including her cousins, James, Albus and Lily, and Fred and Roxanne, whom she got to see quite a lot. Now that she is in school, Rose is finding herself quite good at academics, though they do not hold her attention for long. As such, she doesn't have the best grades in the classes she finds boring, but excels in those that ignite her imagination. She is also a good quidditch player, having had a broom since she was old enough to ride one. For her twelfth birthday, two weeks before she started second year, her Uncle George gave her a brand new broom to bring to school with her, which is now her most cherished possesion.
SAMPLE POST (300-500 words, third person, past tense):
Rose clambered through the portrait hole, almost tripping but catching herself at the last minute on the shoulder of a small first year. Smiling at him, she apologised quickly, before heading for the stairs to her dorm, clutching the package in her hands tightly. She had been at dinner when it was delivered, two small black owls flying low and landing in front of her with a package tied between their legs. Ever since the incident last year with the exploding roses, she had learned not to open her packages at the table anymore and had quickly finished her dinner and raced up to the common room. She knew who it was from and she was grinning in anticipation before she had even left the Great Hall.
Bursting into her room, she threw her bag to the floor and sat down on her bed, tucking one leg beneath her. She gazed at the package for moment intently, before grinning and ripping the paper off. Tucking her hair behind her ears to keep it out of her way, she looked with reverance at the box on her lap. She glanced down as a small scrap of parchment fluttered to the floor and she reached down to pick it up.
These go on sale next week. I thought you might enjoy an advance order to test them - don't cause too much trouble!
- Uncle George
She hoped Hugo hadn't seen her leave the hall, or noticed the owls flying in her direction. If her Dad got wind of her receiving another package from Uncle George, all hell would break loose at home. Still, it was worth. She couldn't wait to see what she'd be causing trouble with this month.
