Lady, you get on with your bad self, and write some Nano! Hey, if we're going to fail this, we're not going to fail it with zeros! Write some purple prose, write some hack, write some crap, but get in there, and write something lady!

Go, go go! *said in a marine sergeant voice as she chucks you out of the plane*

Aww, you're a sweetie! I've actually written quite a lot, but I hate the horrid nano site so much that I haven't uploaded a word onto it! I can't work out how to add any of the other people who asked me to add them - I added my friend Kate easily enough because there was a link for it before nano started officially, but for some stupid reason the link was taken off as soon as it was time to start writing! So I'm not really using the site.

I'm struggling a bit with the writing, but it's going ok. It's a bit like trying to run a marathon when you haven't worked out in a while: your muscles are all creaky and stiff :)

Actually, the nano site isn't so bad right now, I think a lot of people have given it up.

Good for you writing like a fiend! I'm way behind... WAAAAY behind. But I'm still trying.

Oh I'm way behind too! But we should be proud of ourselves for even trying, I think.

I don't think I'm ever going to use the site. I'm keeping a word count in microsoft word, and I might post bits on my lj eventually, if I ever write something I actually like.

Good luck, comrade!! :)

I've seen people almost die standing in bike lanes in Berlin.

OK maybe not "people" - maybe like one person. And maybe not "almost die..." but you get the picture.

It's pretty brutal here, but my friend got her foot savagely run over in Amsterdam. They didn't even ding their little dingy bell first! Just went straight over her poor little foot. The Dutch are so sanctimonious about their bicycles, it just makes me want to drive around the country in an SUV :) ...though admittedly it could just be that I'm jealous that I can't ride bicycles because I hurt myself on them.
