You don't know me, but I read your Haiti Journal Entry, and I saw on the news a year or two ago something about Haiti accepting Voodoo as a national religion. I'm not sure what it's religion is, and was wondering if you knew anything pertaining to Voodoo and Haiti. I'm a Christian, and it just surprised me when I found this out a few years ago. It sounds like God really used you and you're doing his will. My name is Katie. I've never been on a mission's trip before but then again I've never really responded to God's call. If you have insight into this please let me know. My AIM screenname is BeachBoysGirl87. Thanks! God bless.

Hey Katie.
I'm glad you commented. I would be happy to talk to you any time I see you online. It is true, Haiti's national religion is voodooism. But it's also true that God is bigger than anything the Haitians or anyone else following voodoo could think up. Hopefully I'll get the chance to talk to you more about it sometime. Thanks for writing!
