My sister and I have both had our wisdom teeth pulled. For me, it really wasn't a big deal. I remember it was really early in the morning so I was tired anyway, and I had my headphones on. They gave me nitrous oxide to put me to sleep, and I fell asleep practically right away. When I woke up and the surgery was over, the cd I had been listening to was almost over and I didn't remember listening to any of it. I really didn't feel much pain at all. I was pretty loopy for the rest of the day though. The nitrous oxide is a pretty powerful drug! When I got home I started watching Titanic and I kept imagining that my friends were with me even though I was all alone! As I healed I didn't have any problems or anything. Not much pain at all. My sister on the other hand got 1 dry socket. I'm not exactly sure what it is but I guess it hurt pretty bad. I think it can happen from not cleaning properly...but I'm not sure. Even then though, she just went back to the dentist guy and he fixed it up and she was fine. So don't worry, it's really not as ( ... )
