"Is it just me, or have things gotten a bit boring around here lately?"
Tara stopped typing and looked over at Lilah, who was lounging on the couch, her head on her hand. "Is that supposed to be a bad thing?"
"Yes. No. Oh, I don't know."
"Well that was an informative answer."
Lilah rolled her eyes at her sister. "It's just...I mean, don't get me wrong, I love sleeping with new people. But I think I'm running out of new people to sleep with. And new places to sleep with people. And new positions to try."
"That is an appalling thing to be disturbed about."
Lilah sighed loudly. "Life is just boring since everything finished. There's no goal anymore."
"Then maybe it's time to come up with a new one? You have grandkids now. Six of them, in fact," Tara pointed out.
Lilah sat up. "There's an idea."
"...What?"
"It is definitely time to be an awesome grandmother."
"Okay, you are starting to worry me, Lilah."
"No, no. I can help the kids with all the questions their parents are too prudish to answer, buy them toys and junk food and things their parents won't get them, let them get worked up and then return them to their parents. It'll be awesome!"
Tara shook her head. "I'm pretty sure your kids will not be happy with you."
Lilah waved a hand. "Pfft. I have the perfect plan, anyway."
"I'm afraid to ask."
"Vacation! Me and the kids, what could go wrong?"
"Do you want me to count the ways? Also, Molly and Devon are only toddlers and Anne is still an infant. You can't take them on vacation."
"...True. Okay, planning now, vacation once Anne is a kid. Amy, Rona, and Vi should be teens by then, it'll be much more fun with some teens anyway. They're much easier to corrupt."
As Tara realized that Lilah was not going to let this plan go, she saw only one possible path she could take to even mitigate the possible damage. "Okay. But you're including me on this trip."
"You want to come?"
"Not particularly. But this way at least I can watch the kids when you get distracted by whatever young stud catches your eye."
Lilah smirked at her sister. "That is true. Well, I'm off to go plan. I think I'll have to buy a new bikini, the old one just isn't cutting it anymore..."
As she wandered off, Tara valiantly did not bang her head against the table. "This is going to be such a mess," she moaned. "Guess I'd better warn my nephews and niece."
