Great Grandchild #3 Arrives

Yesterday afternoon, our family was blessed by the safe arrival of Brooklyn Kay, weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and being 20 inches in length, she is healthy and the new parents are happy.

I, of course, think she's pretty darned cute. On the other hand;

Congratulations Great Grandma! She looks very sweet. It's been a long time since I've held a tiny baby. A very special experience.

It may be a while till I get to hold this one, but worth the wait. We haven't had a new baby for 12 years, almost like starting over.
