Vinyl Endures, Tied 107 Yr Old Early Snow Record + Daily Draw

Amazingly enough even after stuffing ourselves full of Sunday dinner, there was enough energy left to bring in all the vinyl from the storage shed. I held my breath while Anah put on the first record, and, wow, it actually played, no skips, a bit of static (but that's part of the experience). Glad the record player works well and your collection is in good enough shape! I think I'll have a record day tomorrow...you sold me with the static detail.

We got a tiny bit of snow today, too, but luckily not enough to accumulate on anything. *deep breath* It's coming. o_O

That is a gorgeous deck, and message ♥

What fun!
We gave away all our vinyl records. It's just so much easier to dial in anything I want, instantly, with Spotify and we bought fantastic speakers so there's that too. But I do enjoy the ambiance of a vinal record.

While I actually don't play a lot of music when I am alone; on Sundays we always have music on. I am so happy I didn't get rid of the albums, though I did ditch all the 45's along the way. The kids are enjoying the record player a lot.

Oh, you have already the first snow, it's amazing! We are in central Russia have summer like weather - plus ten and of course no a glimpse of snow, though I am certain it is not for long - one-two week and we will have freezing temperatures as well.

I was very surprised by the early snow and glad it didn't hang around. Supposed to be 60F today, much better. I hope you are enjoying the nice weather there.

Snow is right around the corner from me as well since we usually have our first snowfall between Halloween and Thanksgiving.
I'm actually looking forward to it--no more flies, mosquitoes, or stink bugs...

You and your family always find a way to enjoy yourselves and you do so beautifully!
