Question

Does anyone know if there is a way to filter the things I read on my Friend's list? I find that so many of the communities I belong to overwhelm things sometimes that I often miss out on the things my 'real' friends post. Is there any way to seperate communities from actual friends?

Yup. Create the filter of the things you expect to read regularly (I have communities separated from person and then fannish filters set up as well).

After you sign in, go to http://www.livejournal.com/friends/filter.bml to select which filter you want to read. I'm sure there's a faster way but since I don't do it every time, that's how I do it. :D

You're welcome. And yes, it does. Have you seen the size of my flist? lol 202 people. You're damn right I use filters. lol Mostly I have the comms filtered out into their own - so it's friends and comms. But I do have fandom filters as well. (well, if I check daily I'm ok. If I don't? Yeah. Filters. lol)
