The good news or the bad?

Hey guys. A dear friend and one of the pharmacists I work with was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. They'd found a mass on her last mammogram just before Christmas, did a needle biopsy and it came back negative. The doctor, however was unconvinced. He had a 'feeling' about it and encouraged her to have a larger section taken from the mass

Thank you! And the ironic thing is she is the healthiest person I know!! For fun she literally hikes up mountains!!

My thoughts are definitely with your friend and her family. She's a very lucky woman to have such a great doctor looking after her.

Thank you! It's awesome, I'm hoping they caught it early enought that she doesn't have to have chemo.
