"I've also noticed that I feel a lot more "at home" in my body than I did before the birth. When I was a child, I felt like a child in a child's body, when I hit puberty I mostly just felt awkward. I felt only slightly less awkward when I got to college, but definitely in that transitional girl/woman kind of way. Now, though, I really feel like I have a woman's body. I don't even mind the tummy pudge."
Yes! Regardless of how thin or fat I've been I've always hated clothes shopping with a passion. Very self conscious about myself and generally a very poor body image. After the twins made their escape, and the horrid swelling went down i finally felt comfortable in my own skin. Oddest feeling in the world and hard to explain to others. I'm glad to share it with someone because it's fantastic. Here's to hoping it lasts o/
