Ahhaahaha, I've been re-editing this thing all morning as I catch things I couldn't see at midnight, and it wasn't until your comment came in email that I noticed I hadn't replaced the title when I c&p'ed the title/wordcount bit. LOL!

It makes me wonder, really, if Samuel has run into that from one or two people while he's the Shaman. We make the point that the old believers are a minority and that mojo powers are thought of as fraud and wishful thinking by a good portion of the populace, but then we haven't really shown that

Ooooooh. Yeah. I mean, the physical mojo is sort of hard to deny - it's out there and in your face. But that's probably 90% of what people think of when they think of the mojo (and given the degree most people have it it's in the line of "yeah, okay, you can DO it, but good grief, just go buy yourself a good lighter, it's more reliable!" - parlor tricks, it's real but it's sort of hokey), and the rest of it - the things that can't be physically proven - fall more into the realm of charlatans and stuff people don't believe in.

I bet some aspiring uncle/cousin/whatever probably *did* try to nail him on that. Or at least to seriously discredit him within the company even if they didn't drag it into public courts (how is Avery Pharmaceuticals set up, anyways? Share/stock holders? Board of directors? I'm assuming they're not publicly traded. =P) Oi, what a headache. u_u Samuel had a rough time that first year. =P
