Tape! You will need a ton of tape.
Hair scrunchies/hair ties.
A trash can!
QUARTERS FOR LAUNDRY. Also fabric softener and detergent.
A clock.

A small microwave for popcorn. Srsly. That saved my life in college, and inevitably the dorm one is all crusty and full of burnt smell.

*a small electric fan (which I think I still have and can pass on to you) and an extra blanket. Your climate control is usually at the mercy of Housing's opinion of when summer and winter begin

*shower caddy - bundling soap and whatnot into a towel only works until said towel is wrapped about your head post-shower

*white Christmas lights - florescent light gets old fast
