Driving and driving... Have you ever beeen just driving with two challengine boys in your car every week on end? I have you ever had thoughts of just keeping on driving? I wish I could just go sometimes. I feel the energy of the times closing in and I want to be close to mu famliy and those that I love. The only thing is every time I think of

Where South and North Might Meet and Coexist

I vote for the Dodge City/Richland Center, or maybe LaCrosse, area of southwestern Wisconsin. Nearly 250 miles south of the Cities, a third of the way to Arkansas, noticeably milder winters, beautiful Mississippi river bluff country, rural area, not exhorbitant land prices, primo black soil, proximity to Madison, Eau Claire, Northfield, and the Cities, as well as the Quad Cities (whatever they are; Moline is one). Some interesting alternative culture around -- including Pachamama, a shamanic intentional community.
