I finished the Nanny Diaries. It was a good book up to the last chapter. Horrible ending, IMHO. In a book like this, we want to see the heroine get vindicated, or at least for things to end up fairly, otherwise, we'd stop reading and just pay more attention to real life. Mom wanted to go to the gym for cardio and I, on my quest to go back to my usual weight, decided to go with her. You have to understand something, though. The neurologist was yesterday. I know this sounds kinda crazy, but everytime I go there, I feel a sense of hope. Like somehow, magic wand or no, after this visit things will be better. Got up at 5:30 this morning. I wouldn't have known it was that early unless I looked at a clock. I slept very poorly last night. Woke up with a terrible migraine. It made no sense. But then again, they never do, do they?
