Did you know that they're filming a version of 'The Woman in Black' at the moment, with Daniel Radcliffe (the actor who plays Harry Potter) as the lead? It's a Hammer Films production, and will pretty much be the vehicle by which they relaunch in the UK after a very long quiet spell. Provided they do it well I'm rather looking forward to it...

No, I hadn't heard about that! Fingers crossed they make a good job of it...

There's rather a good BBC Radio adaptation of it, which comes up on Radio 7 every now and again - I'll let you know if I hear that it's going to be re-broadcast at any point.

Please do - it's a long-time favourite of mine so I'm always interested in adaptaions of it in various media.

By the way, would you like to borrow her latest one ('The Small Hand')? I could bring it along tomorrow, if so.

The Commedia Dell'Arte book was interesting, but quite slight.

The Larsson books are perfectly good thriller/crime novels, and I'd certainly recommend reading them if you like that genre, but I don't think they really live up to all of the hype surrounding them.
