Will you be modelling a devastating new creation at Whitby?

Sadly I'm not going to be at this one - I hope you have a great time up there!

So much awesome. I particularly love the banyan and cap - I've never seen rose print look so masculine.

Thanks - I was rather pleased with the way it turned out!

I realised, when I actually saw him wearing the red coat, that it made him look rather like a Chelsea Pensioner...

Very nice, though the Banyan was rather unexpected. I know you like to experiment though, and I'm sure he's really pleased with it as it looks great on him.

Unexpected in what way? The choice of fabric?

By the way, does the coat fit?

Both actually. I've not seen you make a garment like that before, though perhaps I missed a past endeavour. The fabric is an unusual choice for a man, but as someone above has said looks very good on him indeed.

The coat fits very well on the arms. The shoulder seams are a little off but it isn't very noticeable, and the cuffs are perfect on the hand.

I'm glad it (mostly) fits! Unfortunately there's not much I can do about the shoulders, without taking it apart and remaking it, but I hope it's not too much of a problem - that's always going to be a difficulty with things that are adapted from one person to another...
