Does anybody else think it's weird that everybody gets really excited when new people start showing up, but everybody's bummed out when someone gets to go back home?

Weird? Eh, not really. After seeing our population dwindle without any new faces to compensate, having the cycle return is almost a refreshing change. There's the chance to make new friends and perhaps see people you haven't in a long time. And though I'm relieved whenever friends are sent home, for their sake, I'll miss them anyway. Human nature, I suppose.

Everybody always says it's better for people to go home, but they're all really, really excited when new people come.

Well, it is better for them. No doubt, unless their situation is even worse somehow. Still, I get excited too. I wouldn't truly wish this place on anyone, but it's interesting to see who will arrive, familiar faces or not.

The only really interesting part is seeing what kind of people the Malnosso bring it.

Not really. No one I know has shown up and no one I've really known well has left. [Save Ichigo, but he never really spoke with Ichigo while in Luceti and, frankly, his world needs Ichigo.]
