I don't even know if these are interesting mushrooms, and I know the picture quality could be better, but when we walked past these on Friday, I thought of some of you.

aw, beautiful. mushrooms are my favourite food. I found my photography book of nothing but pics of morel mushrooms (and a bit of lore and recipes.) so wonderful. it looks like you had a wonderful fall walk. <3

The first one looks like a White Deathcap. Please not to be touching; it's very poisonous.

Second one, I haven't a clue.

Third one, hm, looks like a bolet of some sort, but hard to tell without seeing the sponge or gills underneath...

Ooo... there are very specific rules about look but don't touch and the plants and animals, but it's good to know about how dangerous they can be. Thank you!

We thought that last one looked like something from a fairy story, ourselves, LOL.

and here I was expecting to see pics of the mushroom that looks just like a white cock thrusting up out of the forest loam.
