I'm not actually burnt out on my queries and my quest for the perfect agent. I am, however, burning low on my day job. I try to treasure the drone work because like you say, that's the time the ideas come. I think it's a bit of a defense mechanism against boredom ;) In some ways it's nice to be a captive audience to the process whereas if I'm brainstorming at home there are so many distractions and brainstorming doesn't necessarily come as naturally.
