If I 'only have time' for a couple lines of text here and there it is probably not a meaningful interaction to begin with. for me, at least.

I, too, prefer the LJ. I like to blog. I cannot actually follow the lives of my faraway friends on Facebook. It is interesting and amusing and I do my best to put real things there. But I will always be a blogger. 420 characters is never enough for me.
