179: Icon Review 2021
Hi everyone, I thought I would review my progress in icon making this year, I have done this before, so here is 2021 in icon making :)
J A N U A R Y - F E B U A R Y
I was getting fed up of the pandemic and my blog of not getting a lot of attention for something creative, so I went back to LJ and opened up PSE after nearly 4 years to see if I could still make, and I could do! So I produced about 5 which I was proud of
M A R C H
I did my first somein30 round with great sucess, even though I posted them late, it was great to get back into doing something creative.
A P R I L
I did my second somein30 set, which was great fun doing pairings even though I could not get the caps I wanted to do the round with
M A Y
I posted all the icons I had made in the first few months back, some old ones, these included ones I had made for challenges including new challenges like stocklove_ic
J U N E - S E P T E M B E R
I was on varoius mini breaks, so did not make a lot or post
S E P T E M B E R
I posted all the icons I had made over the summer including a round at lims_movie, I won a lot of challenges as well :)
O C T O B E R
I did a thrid set for somein30 which was croppoing and entered a few challenges
N O V E M B E R - D E C E M B E R
Another mini break and work pressures ment less time icon making and more time to focus on my mental health, with Christmas coming up I had less time to make as well, but managed to squeeze some in.
C L O S I N G
I'm glad to be making icons again, although I'm still sometimes not as good as before, I'm making which is the main thing. I hope next year just to carry on making to improve all the time.
