It was another too short saturday of rainstorms, movies, and napping. I didn't even leave the apartment until 10pm to go grab some mcdonald's to quiet the hunger pains I'd been ignoring over the last couple hours watching Practical Magic on tv. dallas teacher certification update:

i have received a letter saying that my application has been evaluated and i am now at the pre-screening phase of the process. I should hear something by Aug. 18th concerning the next step. Please keep the process in your prayers for me...I really want this!!

So I mailed in my application today for the Dallas teacher certification program for next year. Please keep the process in your thoughts and prayers for me. I'm really excited about this and want to pursue the opportunity to become a teacher. This is the first thing I've been really excited about all year, so I really hope this happens for me.
