I'm alive.
I'm not well today, but that's a long and bitchy rant I don't want to get into, because writing something entirely different made me a much much happier person, and I needed that.

So here's what I wrote. 
It's more CO trip.  Because if you ask me, a little Colorado does everyone some good all the time. :)

I finally did some things I've been meaning to do. :)
INCLUDING starting in on my backlog of Colorado stuff.
The trip was too awesome not to share, I have just been feeling a little blue, a little tired, and a lot like I'm still catching up since I got back to IL.

 So as  I'm sure the IL people know, we done had ourselves a big storm this morning. BIIIG. Fast moving. Intense.
Thing was clocking along at 70 mph.
I was (and am) sick and attempting to sleep like the half dead, because well, i'm the half-dead right now.

Hello all in LJland. 
I've been away, this much is true. :)
My power cable went to hell, and therefore...well, the only downside i can see to having a laptop as your main computer is that if your power cable goes, you therefore have no computer til a new one arrives. 
Well, one has.

Ground zero. Day One. New job.
I had *no* idea what to expect. 
And it was unlike any of my nonexistent expectations. 
I walked to the train station this morning to train it on out there.  I think I might enjoy train commuting. The walk in the morning is peaceful and gives me time to wake up, and I do loves me some trains. It's un-natural to me as ( Read more... )
