She reconizes her name, and follows you around with her eyes. She sleeps all night long with out waking up, and eats 6oz every bottle feeding. She also has been eating ( Read more... )

p.s.
I wouldn't worry too much about the tummy-time thing...I've been watching friends' babies and they seem to do things all at different speeds! And a few have seemed to fall behind and then, bam, they catch up overnight!

p.p.s.
And, for what it's worth...that is one happy, healthy, spoiled lookin' little baby! YAAAY! :)

p.p.s.
I haven't forgotten I wanted to make you a little blanket! My life got silly over the last two months or so and so I haven't done it yet...but I will!!! :)

I know you wouldn't forget us Moggy! No rush at all, although it is getting cold in Tennessee ;)
I just feel like maybe I am missing a key ingredient in this baby puzzle

Am I already one of those mothers who push their kids to be over achievers?!

I don't think so, no. We want what's best for our babies; that's natural. :) It's when we want our babies to be the best when we have a problem.

And by that I mean the moms who are all like, "My three month old just took her first steps; should I have her checked for developmental delays?!"

Don't worry at all ash! Dawn was a little behind on her milestones. Baby's develop all at their own rate. That does not mean that their is something wrong. But I know what the other mommy on here meant when she said that she feels bad when other mothers brag about their kids doing stuff sooner. On cafemom, the other mothers would brag about how their sept 2008 babies would be doing this or that and I was like "why isn't Dawn doing that?" Actually it sounds like Ellenie is ahead of the game on a lot of things and I wouldn't be worried in the slightest. I think the majority of babies hate tummy time! its frustrating for them! I think you are doing a wonderful job and keep up the good work! She is too cute in those pics btw!
