I had a very weird dream. In it, I was going to be given an award, and so my Mom and I went to the dollar store and bought this really expensive dress. (?) It was red and glittery. And then I was putting it on and I was so nervous, 'cause I didn't know if we were supposed to get dressed up for the award ceremony or not, so I started crying and then ( Read more... )

*giggles* Sounds like an awesome dream apart from the crying part. That must have been some funky coffee.

I need to watch the dub episode. I want to see the quality of the dub, I like watching anime with my parents if it is a show that would interest them, but the way the female Japanese vas speak is painful for my dad to hear (though he is fine with live action).

When will I learn I don't need someone else's validation in order to enjoy something? ;_;

Especially since people have a bad habit of bashing dubs WITHOUT even giving it a fair chance. Too many negative reactions can steer others away from it, too. DX

THAT WALLPAPER.

I'm happy that Sayaka and Kyoko are side-by-side.

Ugh, yes. ;_; And I don't mind when people criticize it, but when people are like, "yeah no this is the worst thing, i give up on Madoka" then I get pretty sad.

That wallpaper is so pretty. Oh yes, me too.

You will never beat a dream about a vulcanic eruption in Switzerland XD Concerning the dub, I wonder why the Americans tend to dislike them - come on, they are getting better and better, and it's been almost twenty years since the "Sailor Moon" a'la americana. I personally would love to find ANY anime distributed in Poland, as the only company that was releasing them went bankrout in 2009 ;_;

...OMG. XD

I agree, it's not like most dubs are as screwed as they were before, where the dubbing companies would edit out any story elements deemed too "adult" (glbt characters, sexual content, violence, incredibly dark stuff, religious themes) or take away anything Japanese from it. I understand they might not like the voice acting, but other than that, the script's pretty much the same, which I consider most important, music's intact, and anyway, the blu-rays/DVD come with the Japanese audio, so if they really hate the dub, they can still watch that.

Aww, I'm really sorry about that. I hope more anime can come out in Poland. ;_;

^^ BTW, what do you thik about the magical costumes in "Madoka"? I couldn't help but be a little disappointed that they look so normal, like a dress a normal girl could wear when going out. I prefer weird costumes like Starlights or WITCH.
What's strange about the dream is that it had some humour in it, which is teoretically impossible. I was watching the eruption from the other side of a lake and thought "We are save here". About a second later a large rock has damaged a trolley behind me. And the bank was still working. Maybe I was half-awake then?
