Thank you for posting a glowing review of my current wip. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.

However.

Telling me you loved a certain line so much that you're trying not to use it in your OWN wip? Huge fail. I consider that a threat of plagiarism, not flattery.

Probably they meant it as a compliment but it is a lousy way to go about doing it!

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at first by it! I've since calmed down.

There are only so many original ideas in fanfic, but this was one specific line, and while I get that the concept could be used elsewhere, I was taken aback by how they phrased it. But it's not like I'm going to start stalking them to make sure it never happens. :)
