friends again

another of my closest friends has moved to US. looking forwrd to having a long chat with her. In the past she has always cheered me up. One of those bubbly characters.... feeling really good today having got a surprise call from her.

its a beautiful day too... just perfect...
wonder how sometimes people who are so not like u become ur best friends

It is tough..when friends move away. I think mekin's recent posts have been talking of that as well. one wonders...just wonders...should one follow friends around or stay put just because distances might distance?

Close friends who become distant either change or you change. Just things aren't the same most of the time. Even with the advances in technology , it is always difficult to keep in touch as out of sight , out of mind still holds good. I have tried a lot to keep in touch but with some I see it going only one way and then I finally give up.
