Author's Notes: Today has not been a good day in my relationship with the Internet at campus and now at home. I asked two people to give me five words. I looked up their meaning and wrote a Supernatural story and usedall ten of them. Thank You to glasslogic for five awesome words, the brilliant title and your review. The words were mercurial, astute, insipid, sherd, gestalt, precarious, Jamboree, ameliorative, fecund and disingenuous. Did I use the words the correct way? What did you think of the little drabble?

John's temper had been mercurial for the past few months. Anything could set him off. Everything was insignificant except to catch who had killed Mary. Even taking care of his kids had taken a backseat. He felt bad when he was sober but that was a rarity. He was glad the weekend was over and Sam's highly hyper body was at school.

Sam couldn't wait for Dean to come pick him up. He had been waiting for ten minutes already. He had so much to tell Dean. He would have loved to tell his dad too but was astute enough to pick up on his dad's lack of interest. Dean always paid attention to what he said. He had to absolutely tell Dean about the sherd from Egypt Benny's dad brought to show the class from the museum he worked at. He was able to touch it! Did Dean know what a sherd was?

Sam also wanted to join the Boy Scouts so he could go to a Jamboree. Lydia's dad yesterday talked about one he was leading. It sounded so
fun. He also needed to ask what fecund meant. It sounded so mean but the adults started laughing when Lydia's dad said it to Jerry, Amelia and Kyle's dad. Mr. Henway turned around and asked what? Lydia's dad had replied you have seven kids and three more on the way. Adults
were weird especially when they used words like gestalt! Gestalt psychology…Why would anyone call something gestalt? Where did they come up with these words?

Sam wished his dad had come. Last night he said he would but he didn't show up. Sam looked up to see Dean walking toward him.

When Sam turned fifteen, the shouting matches got out of hand because of Sam's repetitive insipid commentary on wanting to be normal in John's point of view. John knew he should be grateful that Dean's presence was ameliorative to his and Sam's tumultuous relationship. He didn't know how the two of them would survive without him.

Sam walked away from all of that at the age of eighteen disingenuously.

Two years later, Sam's precarious hold on normal finally slipped away. Sam's world was once again Dean and the Impala.
