Moment 1:

Dean walked into the warehouse and froze seeing Sam turning and pointing a gun at him. Sam's eyes skipping around as if trying to figure out where he was, looking for something, finding it but not believing it.

Dean's heart skipped five beats when Sam shot the bullet at empty air.

Dean's heart broke when he pressed his thumb into Sam's wound causing him pain but saving Sam from his mind. Dean went against everything in himself, everything he stood for in order to save Sam from the hold still over him from a time he just wanted to forget.

Sam looked at Dean's thumb pressing into his hand and wanted to scream. How could Dean hurt him? He looked up into Dean's eyes and the pain changed.

It was different. He could hear Dean telling him it was different. This one didn't hurt...well okay not as much. It reminded him of the time when he fell down playing soccer and Dean carried him home. It reminded him of Dean protecting him from bullies. It reminded him of safety and that as long as Dean was around he was safe.

When Dean pressed again, the hallucination cracked just as Sam had been cracking. Dean made the source of the pain go away just like when they were younger.
