I'm amazed at how many people would be upset if Harry died. I thought it'd be way less. And I'm also shocked to the core at the amount of people who will READ THE END FIRST! I couldn't do that. It'd ruin the whole thing for me. I'm shocked to the core, I tell you.

I have several people on my flist who I know will be doing that too, I can't understand it - but I guess it's the same as my gripe about Happy Ever Afters, I hate to know the ending of any book

It reminds me of the time I was watching the first series of Star Trek the Next Generation for the first time, and my sister in law said of Tasha Yar or whatever her name was 'don't get too attached'. I spent the entire series waiting for her to die and it TOTALLY wrecked it. I HATE spoilers.
