I love this story...poor Sirius! I can just see him, especially when McGonagall hugged them. That was too good. Please keep it coming, I'll keep reading!

Thank you, I will! I'm glad you like that scene, that particular part is very vivid in my mind too. Poor Sirius, he's been through so much, I think he just needs comfort from someone he trusts. *snuggles him*

:-) Thank you! I thought you might like this chapter, with its Grindeldorey-angsty-subtext!

Oh... yay! Finally something good happens to them! And a very good one, too! Your Dumbledore is spot on in that speech. In fact, he's spot on in every way ( ... )

*squeezes you tight* Thank you so much! I love the way you always pick up on the little things I'm trying to convey. That's exactly it with Dumbledore - he's thinking of how it could have been if things had been different, and whether he could have done what Remus did, and realising he's been judging Sirius as though he were Grindelwald. He must feel as though his world has been completely shaken.
I'm glad you feel Sirius is brave here, too. I was worried about making him too broken and weak, but really, with everything he's been through, it's not surprising that he's an emotional mess. And yes, Remus knows exactly what he needs. I imagine that he always does.

And they really are eminently snuggleable, aren't they?

Thank you, again, for such a lovely review xxx

Sirius? Broken maybe (all though not irrevocably), but weak, no. The way he handled the Veritasium (sp) thing was extraordinarily brave.

I like to think he feels he can be as brave as he has to be, as long as Remus is there with him. *loves them*

"Ten points to Gryffindor."

Cracked me up... I love your Minerva and that Remus convinces Dumbles and Minnie that Sirius is innocent. Well done, my dear! Well done!

(By the way, are the flowers in bloom there yet? I miss Spring in England so much...)

I'm glad you liked that line - it's one of the ones I've had in mind right from the beginning! It made me giggle too. Minerva is one of my favourite characters, so I was really happy to be able to put her in here.

And yes, the flowers are blooming here, and it's so lovely! Daffodils are my favourites, and there is an absolute sea of them in our garden, all mixed in with primroses, crocus, cyclamen.... Mind you, it snowed this morning, so I think everything's a bit mixed up! I'll have to post some pictures on my journal so you can see :-)

Thanks for reading! xx

I went to Blenheim Palace last Easter. The palace isn't too much to look at, but the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. There were millions of daffodils. The fields looked yellow. So lovely. Enjoy all the blooming trees and parks... I will look forward to those photos!
