HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS! to fajrdrako!!!

Ideally, I would have got Gerard Way to sing Happy Birthday to you, but MCR being on hiatus, you know... Instead, here's the clip with the "Thirty's the new twenty." "For trees!" exchange between Gerard and Frank. :D

Have a fantastic day filled with all the things you enjoy - and may the next year be wonderful too!

But amusing! :) It looks really interesting on my f-list. Like huge but all squished together with my layout so it kind of looked like a giant code.

Tricky; I will imagine him singing, virtually.

Thanks so much - big hug!

(Your pressie is waiting for me a home, still unopened. Whee! Stuff to look forward to!)

I'd sing - but I'm not sure you really want me to. ;)

We can both sing - there's no way your rendition of Happy Birthday could be worse than mine. [g]

I've been doing a lot of singing along - loudly if not tunefully - to MCR lately. There are only a few sections of the odd song to which I don't know the words, or so I thought till I realised yesterday that I really wasn't that familiar with Bury Me In Black from Life on the Murder Scene. It was almost like having new material!

I do think Gerard is an inspired lyricist. Very often, they're just obscure enough - he has said that he doesn't like to spell everything out in lyrics - to be tantalisingly allusive. And the words flow well, with the stresses and rhymes in the right places, and mesh well with the music too. Oh yes, I'm smitten. :)
